Since 1980, Janie has developed a varied and successful media career, creating travel stories and web videos for numerous past and present Canadian media outlets, including the Toronto Sun and Postmedia Network newspapers across Canada, Toronto Star, CRUISE & TRAVEL LIFESTYLES magazine, CT/Canadian Traveller magazines, ZOOMER magazine, WestJet up! magazine, DREAMSCAPES TRAVEL AND LIFESTYLE magazine, the Canadian Tourism Commission Media Centre, as well as travel columnist for CBC Radio’s Fresh Air and Simcoe Life magazine. The versatile journalist's 20-year television experience with CHUM TV includes producing, writing and hosting television shows.
